Obama's White House now using Drupal

The White House website is now running on Drupal, according to an annoucement last Saturday.

"We now have a technology platform to get more and more voices on the site," White House new media director Macon Phillips told the AP. "This is state-of-the-art technology and the government is a participant in it."

This is an interesting high profile use of Drupal which may help to convince other governments of the value free and open source software can bring to top level publicly funded projects.
